Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, and the successor to 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Stadia on November 10, 2020.
The game is set in the Dark Ages during the Viking invasion of England. Players control Eivor, a Viking raider who can be played as either male or female. Eivor leads their clan from Norway to England in search of a new home. Along the way, they must battle the Saxons, unite the Viking clans, and forge alliances with the English.
The PlayStation 5 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla includes a number of graphical improvements over the PlayStation 4 version. These improvements include:
- 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
- HDR support for more vibrant colors.
- Faster loading times thanks to the PS5’s SSD.
- Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on the DualSense controller.
The PS5 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also includes a number of new features, such as:
- A new raid mode called River Raids.
- A new story expansion called Wrath of the Druids.
- A new game mode called Mastery Challenges.
If you already own the PlayStation 4 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free. To do this, you will need to sign in to your PlayStation Network account on your PS5 console and then download the PlayStation 5 version of the game from the PlayStation Store.
