Disney DuckTales Remastered

DuckTales: Remastered is a high-definition remake of the 1989 video game DuckTales, developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Capcom. It was released for multiple gaming platforms, including the PlayStation 3, Wii U, Windows, and Xbox 360, over a three-month period between August and November 2013, and later expanded to Android, iOS, and Windows Phone in April 2015. The game was temporarily delisted from digital storefronts in August 2019, but was relisted in March 2020.

The game is a 2.5D platform game with a Metroidvania-style level design. Players control Scrooge McDuck as he travels across the world in search of five treasures: the Moon Stone, the Magic Hourglass, the Golden Harp, the Crown Jewels, and the Diamond in the Rough. Along the way, he must face various enemies and obstacles, including the Beagle Boys, the Witch Hazel, and the Phantom Blot.

DuckTales: Remastered features enhanced graphics and audio, as well as a new voice cast that includes the original animated series’ then-surviving voice actors and actresses. The game also includes a few new features, such as a museum mode that allows players to view concept art and listen to music from the game.

The game was met with critical acclaim, with praise for its visuals, audio, gameplay, and faithfulness to the original game. It was also a commercial success, selling over 1 million copies worldwide.
