Genshin Impact Details Version 4.0 Second Half Events
The second half of Genshin Impact Version 4.0 will start on September 5, 2023 and end on September 26, 2023. The following events will be available during this time:
- Zhongli’s Gentry of Hermitage Banner and Tartaglia’s Farewell of Snezhnaya Banner will be available, featuring the return of Zhongli and Tartaglia, respectively. The new 4-star character Freminet will also be featured on both banners.
- Leyline Overflow event will be held, giving players double the rewards from Leylines.
- Lyney and Lynette’s Journey event will be held, in which players can help Lyney and Lynette, the twins from the Sumeru Academia, on their journey to Fontaine.
- Photo Contest: Capture Your Moments in Fontaine event will be held, in which players can submit photos they took in the Hydro region of Fontaine.
- Feast of the Lanterns event will be held, celebrating the Lantern Rite festival in Liyue.
In addition to these events, there will also be new Archon Quests, World Quests, and challenges available during the second half of Version 4.0.

- Zhongli’s Gentry of Hermitage Banner and Tartaglia’s Farewell of Snezhnaya Banner
These banners will feature the return of Zhongli and Tartaglia, two of the most popular characters in Genshin Impact. Zhongli is a Geo polearm user who is known for his powerful shields and elemental burst. Tartaglia is a Hydro archer who is a versatile damage dealer. The new 4-star character Freminet will also be featured on both banners. Freminet is a Cryo claymore user who is said to be a powerful support character.
- Leyline Overflow event
This event will give players double the rewards from Leylines. Leylines are special areas that players can challenge to earn Mora, EXP, and other rewards. The Leyline Overflow event will be a great way to farm materials and level up your characters.
