Hyper Light Breaker – Official Early Access Development Update
On August 22, 2023, Heart Machine released an official development update for Hyper Light Breaker, announcing that the game’s Steam Early Access launch has been delayed to early 2024. The delay was made in order to give the developers more time to polish the game and add more content.
In the update, Heart Machine’s Creative Director Alx Preston said that they are “really happy with the progress we’ve made on Hyper Light Breaker” but that they need “a bit more time to make sure it’s the best it can be.” He also said that the team has “a lot of wild ideas” for the game and that they want to make sure they have enough time to implement them.
The delay was met with disappointment by some fans, but Heart Machine assured them that they are committed to making Hyper Light Breaker the best game it can be. They said that they will continue to share updates on the game’s development in the meantime.

Heart Machine also said that they are open to feedback from the community during the Early Access period. They want to make sure that Hyper Light Breaker is a game that everyone can enjoy.
The Early Access launch of Hyper Light Breaker is now scheduled for early 2024. The game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
