Left 4 Dead 2, the popular co-op zombie shooter, has received a surprise update 14 years after its release. The update adds a new campaign, “The Last Stand”, as well as a number of new features and improvements.
The Last Stand is a four-chapter campaign that takes place in a new location, the abandoned mining town of Evansburgh. The campaign features new enemies, weapons, and challenges.
The update also adds a number of new features, including:
- A new difficulty setting, “Expert”.
- A new mutation, “Tanktician”, which makes the Tank even more powerful.
- A new community challenge, “The Weekly”, which will reward players with unique cosmetics.
- A number of bug fixes and improvements.
