Little Nightmares 3 was announced at gamescom Opening Night Live 2023. The game is developed by Supermassive Games and is scheduled to be released in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The reveal trailer showed off some of the game’s features, including:
- Two playable characters: Players will control two characters, Low and Alone, who are searching for a path that could lead them out of the Nowhere.
- Co-op gameplay: Players can play the game in online co-op, where one player controls Low and the other player controls Alone.
- New enemies: Players will encounter new enemies, including a giant spider and a group of masked figures.
- New environments: Players will explore new environments, including a flooded city and a dark forest.
Little Nightmares 3 is a direct sequel to the first two games, and it will pick up where the second game left off. The game will explore the origins of the Nowhere and the mysteries that surround it.
