When you open the Facebook app, you will see your Home Feed. This is where you can see updates from your friends and family, as well as from pages and groups that you follow.
To scroll through your Home Feed, swipe up or down on the screen. You can also tap on any post to view it in full screen.
Create a Post
To create a post, tap on the “What’s on your mind?” box at the top of your Home Feed. You can then type in your post, add photos or videos, and choose who you want to share it with.
To share your post, tap on the “Post” button.
In addition to your Home Feed, the Facebook app also has a number of other features, including:
- Notifications: This is where you can see all of your notifications, such as friend requests, messages, and group activity.
- Marketplace: This is where you can buy and sell items with other Facebook users.
- Groups: This is where you can join groups based on your interests.
- Events: This is where you can find and RSVP to events happening in your area.
- Games: This is where you can play games with your friends.
- Watch: This is where you can watch videos from Facebook, Instagram, and other sources.
To access these features, tap on the three lines in the bottom right corner of the screen. This will open the navigation menu.
Searching for People, Pages, and Groups
To search for people, pages, and groups on Facebook, tap on the search bar at the top of the screen. You can then type in what you are looking for and press Enter.
Facebook will show you a list of results that match your search query. You can then tap on any result to view it in full screen.
Customizing Your Navigation Bar
You can customize your navigation bar to show the shortcuts that you use most often. To do this, tap on the three lines in the bottom right corner of the screen and tap on “Edit Navigation Bar.”
You can then drag and drop the shortcuts to rearrange them. You can also tap on the “Add Shortcut” button to add new shortcuts to your navigation bar.
