NBA 2K24 Reveals First Look At Kobe Bryant’s Mamba Moments Mode
NBA 2K24 has revealed the first look at Mamba Moments, a new game mode that will allow players to relive some of Kobe Bryant’s most memorable moments. The mode will feature seven different moments from Bryant’s career, including his 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors, his buzzer-beater to win Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals, and his final game in the NBA.
In each Mamba Moments challenge, players will be tasked with recreating the original event as closely as possible. They will have access to all of the same stats, abilities, and equipment that Bryant had at the time, and they will be judged on their performance based on a variety of factors, such as scoring, assists, rebounds, and defense.
Mamba Moments is a fitting tribute to Bryant, who was known for his dedication, work ethic, and competitive spirit. The mode will give fans the opportunity to experience some of his greatest moments firsthand and learn more about what made him such a special player.
Here are the seven Mamba Moments that will be featured in the game:

- 50 points in 3 quarters vs. Dallas Mavericks (2009)
- Buzzer-beater vs. Phoenix Suns (2006)
- Game 7 winner vs. Boston Celtics (2010)
- 60 points vs. Utah Jazz (2009)
- 55 points in 3 quarters vs. Portland Trail Blazers (2003)
- Final game vs. Utah Jazz (2016)
The Mamba Moments mode will be available in NBA 2K24 when it launches on September 8, 2023.
As for how Kobe got his Mamba mentality, he revealed in an interview that it came from his desire to be the best player he could be. He said, “I put the kids through so many drills and clinics, and I just thought to myself, ‘Mamba Mentality.'”
