One Destiny 2 character seemingly owns the The Final Shape Collector’s Edition. This is the Titan Vanguard, Commander Zavala.
In the game, players can find a version of the Collector’s Edition’s Tower replica within Zavala’s office. This replica is a black color scheme that matches the upcoming replica that fans can purchase. The Tower replica in-game has been there for a while, predating the real-world version that fans can purchase.
This has led some fans to joke that Zavala is a gamer and that he owns the Collector’s Edition. However, it is more likely that the Tower replica in Zavala’s office is simply a prop that was added by Bungie as a way to give fans a little Easter egg.
Regardless of the reason for the Tower replica being in Zavala’s office, it is a nice touch that gives the item some extra significance. It also makes it a more meaningful purchase for fans who are looking to honor the legacy of actor Lance Reddick, who voiced Zavala until his recent departure from the role.
The Destiny 2: The Final Shape Collector’s Edition is available for pre-order from the Bungie Store. It costs $275 and comes with a variety of items, including a replica of the Tower, a steelbook case, a digital soundtrack, and more.
