Pokemon Fan Creates Sprites for New Pokemon Coming in Scarlet and Violet DLC
A Pokemon fan took inspiration from past Pokemon games and created sprite artwork depicting the newly revealed Pokemon set to appear in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. The fan then shared their work on social media in a short video.
The fan’s sprites showcase unique animations reminiscent of Pokemon Black and White. The fan’s post on Reddit has received positive feedback, with some fans expressing nostalgia for the sprite art style and hoping for a new Pokemon game set in Unova.
The new Pokemon that will be appearing in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC are:
- Dipplin: A Water/Ground type Pokemon that resembles a platypus.
- Archaludon: A Dragon/Rock type Pokemon that resembles a dinosaur.
- Iron Crown: A Steel/Dragon type Pokemon that resembles a crown.
- Raging Bolt: An Electric/Dragon type Pokemon that resembles a lightning bolt.
- Poltchageist: A Ghost/Psychic type Pokemon that resembles a teapot.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC is scheduled to be released in two parts. The first part will be released on September 1, 2023, and the second part will be released on December 1, 2023.
