Starfield Leaker Arrested

The man who leaked 45 minutes of Starfield gameplay was arrested on August 24, 2023. He was identified as Darin Harris, a 29-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee.

Harris was charged with theft of property valued between $2,500 and $10,000, as well as possession of marijuana. He was also charged with a misdemeanor for possession of marijuana, which is a controlled substance in the state of Tennessee.

Harris is alleged to have stolen copies of Starfield from his workplace, a game development company in Memphis. He then posted the leaked footage to his YouTube channel.

Harris has since posted bail and is scheduled to appear in court on September 12, 2023.

The leak of Starfield gameplay was a major setback for Bethesda, the game’s developer. The company had been planning to release the game on November 11, 2023, and the leak could have damaged the game’s marketing campaign.

However, Bethesda has said that the leak will not affect the release of the game. The company has also said that it is taking steps to prevent future leaks.

The arrest of Harris is a reminder of the serious consequences of leaking confidential information. It is also a reminder that game developers are working hard to create these games and that they deserve our respect.
