The Callisto Protocol delayed to December 2023

The upcoming survival horror game from the creators of Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol, has been delayed to December 2, 2023. The game was originally scheduled to be released in January 2023, but it was announced in June 2022 that the release date has been pushed back to December.

The delay is due to a number of factors, including the need to improve the game’s quality and to add more content. The developers, Striking Distance Studios, have said that they want to make sure that The Callisto Protocol is the best possible game it can be, and they believe that the extra time will allow them to achieve this goal.

Disappointed that The Callisto Protocol has been delayed, but understand the decision. Wait for a great game than play a rushed game that is not up to the standards of the Dead Space franchise. Confident that The Callisto Protocol will be worth the wait, and I am looking forward to playing it in December 2023.

Here are some of the reasons why The Callisto Protocol was delayed:

  • Gameplay polish: The developers want to make sure that the gameplay is as polished as possible. They want to address any bugs or issues that may be present in the game.
  • Content additions: The developers want to add more content to the game. They want to include more levels, enemies, and weapons.
  • Visual fidelity: The developers want to improve the visual fidelity of the game. They want the game to look as good as possible on next-gen consoles.
