The “Pokémon Bank” service has been discontinued.

The paid passes for Pokémon Bank will no longer be offered for purchase after March 27, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PDT. On the same day, Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter will no longer be available to download. However, you will still be able to use Pokémon Bank for free.

Pokémon Bank is a cloud-based service that allows players to store their Pokémon from the Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon, Let’s Go, Pikachu!, and Let’s Go, Eevee! games. It also allows players to transfer Pokémon between compatible games.

The discontinuation of Pokémon Bank is due to the discontinuation of the Nintendo eShop service for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. The eShop will close on March 27, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PDT.

If you have any Pokémon stored in Pokémon Bank, you will need to transfer them to another game before the service is discontinued. You can transfer Pokémon to Pokémon HOME, which is a cloud-based service that is still available.
