Why Forza Motorsport Doesn’t Have A Number Attached To It
According to Xbox boss Phil Spencer, the decision to not include a number in the title of the upcoming Forza Motorsport is a deliberate one. He said that it is meant to show that the game is a “new generation” of Forza Motorsport, and that it will be a “fresh start” for the series.
Spencer also said that the team at Turn 10 Studios wants to make Forza Motorsport a “platform” for the future, and that they don’t want to be limited by the expectations that come with a numbered title.
This is a departure from the previous Forza Motorsport games, which have all had numbers in their titles. Forza Motorsport 7 was released in 2017, and Forza Motorsport 6 was released in 2015.
It is still unclear what the implications of this decision will be for Forza Motorsport. However, it is clear that Turn 10 Studios is taking a new approach to the series, and that they are hoping to create something special with Forza Motorsport.
Here are some of the reasons why Forza Motorsport doesn’t have a number attached to it:
- It is a new generation of Forza Motorsport.
- It is a fresh start for the series.
- Turn 10 Studios wants to make Forza Motorsport a platform for the future.
- They don’t want to be limited by the expectations that come with a numbered title.
