Wukong – PlayStation 5

The game Wukong was released on December 10, 2021 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. So, as of today, August 9, 2023, it is not available on PlayStation 5.

However, there is another game called Black Myth: Wukong that is scheduled to be released in 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Xbox One. This game is an action role-playing game based on the classical 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West. It is being developed by Chinese indie developer Game Science and is being built on the Unreal Engine 5. It looks to be a very promising game and I am looking forward to its release.

In the meantime, if you are looking for a 2D action-platform game to play on PlayStation 5, I would recommend checking out Sun Wukong vs Robot. This game is also based on the Chinese folktale Journey to the West and features the Monkey King as the main character. It was released in 2022 and is available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
