Xbox Game Pass Confirms Surprise Game for August 30
Xbox Game Pass has confirmed that Call of the Wild: The Angler will be a surprise addition to the service on August 30, 2023. The game was not included in the initial announcement of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August, so this is a nice surprise for subscribers.
Call of the Wild: The Angler is a fishing simulator developed by Expansive Worlds, the same studio behind theHunter: Call of the Wild. The game allows players to explore a vast open world teeming with fish, from trout and bass to salmon and pike. Players can customize their fishing gear, tackle different challenges, and compete against other anglers in online multiplayer.
The game is currently available for pre-order on Steam and the Xbox Store. It will be released on August 30 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play the game on day one at no additional cost.
